PIO Exercise Opportunity – Friday, April 26, 2019

April 24, 2019

Greetings, Fort Bend County PIO Network!

The Fort Bend County office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management is facilitating a Levee Improvement District (LID) exercise this Friday in the morning from 0830-1200.

We will be standing up the Joint Information Center for the exercise with the goal of producing an update and conducting some strategic communication planning to feed back into the command structure.

If you didn’t have a chance to join us this month for our PIO Network meeting to see the strategic communication planning process or haven’t worked with our new PIO, Mary Staff, before you may want to stop in for all or part of the morning.

The exercise will be conducted at the Fort Bend County Emergency Operations Center:

307 Fort Street
Richmond, Texas 77469

We’ve also migrated the old outlook distribution list to our Jetty platform, so if you don’t need to be on this list or would like someone else in your organization to receive these notices, please reach out to Lach Mullen so we can update our list: lach.mullen@FortBendCountyTX.gov
