The Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP) is a document for combining efforts across the elements of the Integrated Preparedness Cycle to make sure that a jurisdiction/organization has the capabilities to handle threats and hazards. Through effective program management, each planning, organizing/equipping, training, exercising, and evaluating/improving activity becomes a supporting component of the larger preparedness priorities. These preparedness priorities help exercise planners design and develop a multi-year exercise program of individual exercises that target resources to where they are most useful. Reference the National Preparedness Goal for
toward national preparedness. This progressive approach ensures jurisdictions/organizations select the appropriate exercise type as described in the following sections.
Each year Fort Bend County HS&EM will use the EMCG meeting process to hold an Integrated Preparedness Plan Workshop (IPPW) and send out a IPP Survey to help create the Multi-Year Calendar.
The multi year calendar is a living document and located below in the link for visibility.
