Hurricane Harvey Update #7

Fort Bend County, Texas – Hurricane Harvey is now a Category 4 storm has come ashore close to Rockport, Texas with sustained winds of 130 mph. A Tornado Warning for Southern Fort Bend County has been issued until 2:00 a.m. CDT and will most likely be extended.  CenterPoint Energy is reporting over 4565 homes currently without power in the Fort Bend. Residents should stay safe and avoid going outside if at all possible due to increasing rainfall and sustained winds. Office of Emergency Management remains staffed and monitoring weather conditions and river levels.  Co

El huracán Harvey es una tormenta categoría 4 y tocara tierra cerca de Rockport; Texas con vientos sostenidos de 130 mph.  Se han emitido Advertencias de Tornados para la parte sur del Condado de Fort Bend hasta las 2 de la manana horario del centro. Y este parece que va a ser extendido. Center Point Energy esta reportando mas de 4565 casas sin servicio eléctrico en el area de Fort Bend. Se les pide a los residentes mantenerse en sus hogares seguros y evitar salir si es posible ya que las lluvias y los fuertes vientos se intensificaran. La Oficina del Manejo de Emergencias  se mantiene con todos sus empleados monitoreando las condiciones del clima y los niveles de los Rios.
