The Fort Bend County Homeland Security Emergency Management (HS&EM) Exercise Program coordinates exercises involving local, state and federal partners to help them practice response skills in “real-life” disaster scenarios. HS&EM works locally, regionally, at the state level and nationally to design and execute exercises among our multi-disciplinary stakeholders. HS&EM will create, facilitate, participate, and support exercises. The HS&EM team will try to hold at minimum 2-3 exercises per year in Fort Bend County and the exercises will be noted on the multi-year training calendar. THE HS&EM exercises will be at all levels discussion based and operational based according to what is needed for that year or requested.
