HAZMAT Committee

The Fort Bend County HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) Team is coordinated by the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office.  The Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office serves as the primary HAZMAT response agency, but when needed may call upon other technicians from local departments depending on where the HAZMAT incident is located.  The Fort Bend County HAZMAT Team utilizes a custom built Pierce Truck along with two decontamination units currently housed and operated by Pecan Grove FD and Stafford FD.

The Fort Bend County HAZMAT Team typically meets once a month to discuss team operations, training, and administration.
