The Fort Bend County Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course includes training on what to do in the case you are in an area where help may be delayed in reaching you.

  • Heat-Related Emergencies
  • Hypothermia
  • Altitude-Related Illnesses
  • Allergies and Anaphylaxis
  • Burns
  • Bone and Joint Injuries
  • Wounds and Wound Infection

Wilderness Remote First Aid, WFA WRFA, Course Registration; Sat/Sun, December 9-10, 2017; 8A-8P Both Days

  • All WRFA WFA students must be show proof of current membership, and be in good standing at the time of the course, valid membership from a valid Fort Bend Public Safety / Citizen Corps / VOAD Agency or allied organizations.

  • All WRFA WFA students must possess current and be valid at the time of the course, CPR AED certification from one of the following nationally recognized 2015 ECC Guidelines organizations.
  • All WRFA WFA students must be 14 years of age or older, in addition, all students 17 years or less must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
