Active Shooter Community Awareness Program November 27, 2017; 6PM-10PM

Help us to build a strong foundation for a more secure and resilient community. We’re building stronger residents, businesses, and faith-based organizations  – one at a time. How can we build whole community preparedness and public security? By each taking some basic steps and playing our role – as individuals, parents, business owners, or community leaders. Get involved and make a difference

Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. In the midst of the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Mangement and the U. S. Department of Homeland Security aims to enhance preparedness through a “whole community” approach by providing programs and resources to help you, your family, and friends prepare for and respond to an active shooter incident.
